I am Kathy Zannino Mangione, your Tour Concierge. I’ve been traveling to Italy for over 30 years and helping friends and family enhance their Italian travel experience. Though my background is in computer education and business management, I’ve chosen to now pursue a Boutique Travel company so that I can share my passion for Italian travel with those who would like to get a taste of “La Dolce Vita”…“The Sweet Life” in Bella Italia.
Growing up in an Italian-American neighborhood, I’m fortunate to have been immersed in the Italian culture my entire life. I am a fiercely proud Italian-American with dual citizenship and devoted to promoting Italian cultural awareness. I serve as a board member for the Nuovo Cinema Italiano Film Festival in Charleston, SC. I am also a member of the American Council on Italian Matters and the Order Sons of Italy in Baltimore, Maryland. These organizations provide scholarships for Italian-Americans among other philanthropic initiatives.
My goal is to introduce others to the treasures of Italy, including the beautiful landscape, art, architecture, artisan craft and fine dining. The tours will include elements of luxury without compromising authenticity. My fluency in the language enables me to coordinate tour activities seamlessly and to assist my clients with communication while traveling.
