The Veneto region is widely known for the magical city of Venice, the vibrant university town of Padua and Palladian villas in Vicenza. We will live among the locals for the week in Padua visiting the daily markets, Giotto’s renowned Scrovegni chapel, stunning St. Anthony of Padua church and the splendid buildings at the University of Padua.
Included days trips will be Venice, Vicenza, where we will admire the architecture of Palladio and charming villages that have been described as “paradise on earth.”
